Pope Francis' Five Finger Prayer... ‘ A MIRACLE FROM OUT OF THE BLUE.’ ... Be Not Afraid.

This just in from Philomena, a new friend who was introduced to me in June by Flavia ....former East Africans.
Can you believe it? ....from out of the blue... THE HAND... a hint?....an answer?...a prayer answered.
You
see, when we were children, our parents brought us up with the Gift of
the Hand, urging us to never forget its message. Some years ago, I
decided to create a HAND, to always remind me of their special gift to
us their children. Shopping around, I found a lovely brass hand, from
India, no less, and draping my heart-rosary beads around it, I am
constantly reminded of my parents and my family growing up in Zanzibar,
our once-upon-a-time paradise Island in the sun in far away Africa.
Nostalgia? Yes! Heritage? Yes! Love? Yes! Ha.
Let us join hands in thanksgiving....for Mum and Dad’s wisdom and gifts
to each of us. They knew how to bestow gifts that last forever. ...how
lucky are we !
It
was not until I received Philomena’s ‘Pope Francis’ Five Finger Prayer’
early this morning, that I realized the full import of this beautiful
Hand .... the Gift from our parents ..... and I couldn’t wait to share
it with all of you with great pleasure and love . ... verification that
my parents had it right. ... quite right! Now you know the treasure
that is in our hands. Treasure it! Never let it go!!
It’s incredible, every time I am a-wondering, I receive an answer from unexpected places as if to say, that just perhaps, I need not ponder alone in the fog any more.... the answers are at hand...and then I am afraid no more.
Soon a new year will be here. The future looks so bright and beautiful. Join me. Take my hand....

Pope Francis' Five Finger Prager
Using the fingers on your hand, start with the thumb and pray these intentions in this order:
1.)
The thumb is closest finger to you. So start praying for those who are
closest to you. They are the persons easiest to remember. To pray for
our dear ones is a "Sweet Obligation."
2.)
The next finger is the index. Pray for those who teach you, instruct
you and heal you. They need the support and wisdom to show direction to
others. Always keep them in your prayers.
3.)
The following finger is the tallest. It reminds us of our leaders, the
governors and those who have authority. They need God's guidance.
4.)
The fourth finger is the ring finger. Even though it may surprise you,
it is our weakest finger. It should remind us to pray for the weakest,
the sick or those plagued by problems. They need your prayers.
5.)
And finally we have our smallest finger, the smallest of all. Your
pinkie should remind you to pray for yourself. When you are done praying
for the other four groups, you will be able to see your own needs but
in the proper perspective, and also you will be able to pray for your
own needs in a better way.
